Family Nurse Practitioner
Joy Fuller is currently on staff at Bethesda Hospital/Baptist Health and JFK Medical Center. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Palm Beach County and of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Hobbies: In her personal time, she enjoys jogging, reading, traveling, gardening, and counseling.
Voluntary Organizations: She has served as a Nurse Practitioner at the Palm Springs Baptist Church (aka We Care Clinic), which is a free faith-based medical organization for uninsured individuals in the Palm Beach, FL area that was developed 7 years ago.
She has participated in Alzheimer’s Walk for the Cure and Breast Cancer Awareness events. She is a member of the Forerunners Generation International Church located in Greenacres, FL. She speaks at local churches and organizations on health-related issues and her clinic is used to host support groups for various meetings, community events, and as a clinical site for Medical Assistant students. She serves as a mentor to Nurse Practitioner students from our local universities here in Palm Beach, Dade, and Broward Counties.
Our Practice
Shenandoah Medical Primary Care/Walk-in Clinic was opened by Joy Fuller, Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2016. With over 20 years of practice in the medical field, she decided to pursue her dream of applying her personalized approach to treating patients. Ms. Fuller spends significantly more time with her patients to guarantee she meets their needs and educates them thoroughly.
She fully believes that everyone should have access to great medical care. In addition to accepting most insurance plans, she also sees patients without insurance for a very nominal fee; which includes a thorough physical exam and routine laboratory blood work.
Have you ever become ill, but have responsibilities at home or work and can only take a short amount of time away from your responsibilities? Getting sick or not feeling well is not something you can control or time, which is why Joy wanted to offer walk-in hours.
